Great Environmental Awareness Advertisements: Part 1

A while back I found a simple but very clever billboard advertisement over at Groovygreen which uses shadows to illustrate the implications of climate change . The advertisement is by WWF and uses an awning to cast a shadow on a billboard which rises during the day. Following this I had a look on the internet for other environmental advertisements. Here are some of my favourites so far.

I love the last advertisement. It delivers the message right on spot. And it uses a media which is apparent in many public buildings (tissue box in toilet
). Somebody should start a campaign and replace the tissue box with this one.

Very effective. Parts of Southern Botswana already looks like the first picture.
