Best Eco-Friendly Products Part 1
By admin on Nov 12, 2007 in Featured, Home & Garden, Guides, Products
We have had a number of emails recently asking for recommendations for environmentally friendly products and gifts. Rather than respond to these requests individually we have decided that over the next few weeks leading up to Christmas we will bring you some of the best eco-friendly products available. We will also try to provide you with the most competitive online price for each product.
If you have an environmentally friendly product or service that you would like us to feature, or would like us to research a particular type of product, why not contact us.
With the wide range of eco-friendly products available, it was difficult to know where to start. After some deliberation we found inspiration from the good old English cuppa, and will start by looking into some of the best eco-friendly kettles.Â

The Eco Kettle
The innovative Eco Kettle has a unique double chamber that gets you to measure out exactly how much water you want to boil, saving electricity, water, money and time, making it better for the planet… and you still get to have a great cup of tea.
We think that’s pretty smart thinking - the eco kettle is one of our favourite eco products, and an essential for any eco friendly kitchen or workplace.
Energy Saving Trust recommended.

Takes longer than 3 seconds for 1 cup more like 20 seconds, spits and splutters water everywhere. It is also a hazard to young children and must be turned off at the plug when not in use to avoid any accidents. Also I am not to sure how green this kettle is as the filters need replacing every 4weeks. We bought ours from Costco for a little over ÂŁ30, it will be going back in the coming weeks for a full no quibble refund when we find a better product that can boil either 1 cup at a time or keep the water warm for a few hours.
